Fun bar in beautiful location. Good, creative rum drinks. Food is not bad but not amazing. The place has a good vibe and the staff is friendly.

I'm not sure if I went at a time they were actually closed or what but the guy behind the bar acted odd and the manager came in with a bag of food and sat down to eat. I told him a clerk at a store sent me down there. He asked me if I was looking for a job and I told him no and he just whipped around and proceeded to have his lunch. I just left since it didn't seem like they were serving customers.
But the manager with the gotee, treated us like a HUGE burden. This was the absolute worst service we both have ever had, despite us spending very little and not asking for much. I was really excited to try out this place, but I CAN NOT go back knowing that taking care of customers is too stressful for the workers.

We stopped at the Rum Bar today, Sunday 7/9/2017 , thinking it would be fun to have a drink. The place was not busy, unless you consider 3 people "busy". We sat at the bar waiting to order & watched as people came in after us & gave their orders. As they ignored the 4 of us who wanted rum drinks & food, we left the bar & went to another establishment who welcomed us & happily served us drinks & food. It would seem the staff at the Rum Bar ought to be fired unless you can afford losing customers & having your reputation trashed. In fact if I owned this place I would fire the manager, the help and close the place.
