The food may not be the best, but it good enough after a long day.
The people are very nice. The building is really cool.

The food was good, for burgers and sandwiches. Multiple advertised brews I would have liked to try were not available, but hey, that's the off season I suppose.

This place was recommended by some fellow campers. I was very disappointed!!!!!! It was terrible!! The food was terrible, atmosphere mediocre, service just okay. The kids plate were fine and they liked their burgers, but the plates my husband and I got weren't good. When I spoke to the manager about the food. He just said "sorry to hear that." Don't go here!!! Waste of money!! It's gross...nothing special about it!! I'm not sure why it's even called Pickle Barrel when my son asked for pickles on his burger they gave him a pickle spear!
We rolled into Silverton later on a Wednesday afternoon. Walking around, not much was open (March), but needing a meal, we found the Pickle Barrel. This little place is completed by the perfect rustic feeling, and has lots of interesting things on display, as well as a great wood stove and hearth which we were fortunate to sit next to!
Good food. Great service. Awesome place to end our Sunday drive.
